five things

five things I eat entirely too much:

+ dark chocolate
+ ice cream
+ unwelcome bites off Adam's plates
+ the last popsicle in the freezer
+ my words

five things I wish I was doing right now:

+ picking strawberries in a giant, lush field
+ walking through the streets of Reykjavik
+ cuddling with my husband
+ laying in a giant pile of kittens
+ swimming in the sea

five things I think about entirely too much:

+ babies
+ grad school applications
+ having babies
+ traveling to faraway places
+ cuddling babies

and wanna know a secret?
Though all of this is true, it's a cover for how much I think about babies.
Which is a lot.
Send help.

xo.

  1. Okay. Now imagine walking through that street in that weird named town, sharing an ice cream cone with a baby. Yeah. Mind. Shattered.
You need to come see Jude. It might help/worsen your baby thoughts.

  2. I know exactly what you mean! As soon as Alex and I got married last year, it turned into the only thing I could think about. Being a mom has been my strongest desire ever. I've been late on my period twice now, and since we are trying, it's devastating when we find out I'm not pregnant. Some people have had way sadder stories, but I find that everyone's experience can give the exact same emotion of frustration, anxiety, and nerves. The best advice I got was to have fun. Trying for a baby, or waiting to start a family can be such fun, if you make it that way. Sorry if this was all word vomit, and a bit TMI ;) You rock!

    1. Oh, man... word vomit is my cup of tea so never apologize for your thoughts! I hope that trying goes well for you two. :)
