i love the city,
but if i could
i'd take my future family away from it all
and live on a little farm.
i often daydream about having a large garden,
a few pigs, some chickens, a goat, and a cow,
with our very own silo.
my kids would help me collect the eggs, harvest veggies,
and we'd head down a dirt road on an early saturday morning to sell them at a farmer's market in town.
our nights would be spent playing games and reading stories,
baking fresh bread or spending time just laying on our green grass and looking at the multitude of stars.
we'd work hard on our self-sufficient little farm
and i'd love every minute of it.

isn't this the truth. living on a farm would be so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI am with you, i like to live in the farm. Although we live in a place where we have a huge yard, huge garden, with two chickens, a dog, and cows as our neighbor, so it feels like we are living in the farm. LOL! :)
