love&music

img via the very stunning kait dowling
last evening,
i got to adam's house when he had awoken from a nap.
he told me of his dream.

adam,
i'm sorry if i get the details wrong,
but this is what i got of it.

the world had somehow figured out how to harvest the power of real love and turn it into music.
the different feelings, different aspects of love
would sound differently to the human ear.

one could play the sound of infatuation,
the sound of romance,
the sound of bliss,
and the world could hear it and in an instant those notes would seep under their skin and morph into emotions, coursing through your body.

however,

you could not play or hear these songs, these sounds
unless you had them inside of you.

you could not play the sounds of love unless you had love in your heart.
you could not hear the sounds of love unless you had love in your soul.

i just love that,
how love is such a sacred thing,
it's not meant for the ears or the hearts of just any passerby.

it's a secret language.

to me,
love and music are synonymous.

i experience the same full, heavy feelings that warrant a deep, relaxing breath when i hear a song
that one experiences in love.

i'm so grateful that music is such a huge part of my life's work.

the spirituality and the essence of both music and love...
i just love that the subconscious of a person harmonized the two in dream.

the way i walk,
the way i experience life
is changed when music is playing.

it amplifies any situation.
it is regenerating.
invigorating.
cleansing.
renewing.

with each sound, it offers rose-colored glasses with which we can view the world.

i have a few go-to songs that never fail to ground me, to make me rise without leaving my seat.
i'm sure you do, too.

each life on this earth knows what it is like to be touched by song.
it is instantly humbling, silencing.
we often have no words.
there is a light burning inside of us that cannot be explained through the mouth.

we love music,
though we sometimes carry on our lives
as though we have never heard a beautiful song.

let's move
as though love, bliss, romance, joy has just left it's mark on us...
as though we are currently experiencing a faraway serenade that only we can hear.

always remaining inspired,
never forgetting the beauty and love that exists.

let's walk with love.
